WORKSHOPS FOR SPRING 2009:

I am delighted to post details of my Spring 2009 Workshops.

I have a new one - a combined training day called: "How to Beat the Judge!"

Have a dressage test judged, videoed and analysed for how you can win more marks.  I wish I had had this opportunity when I was competing!

In your show jumping, let me make the most of your course-walk, warm up and round.

BLENHEIM CIC***

Anne-Marie has been invited to be on the Ground Jury with Christian Landolt (SUI) at the Blenheim International Horse Trials CIC*** in 2009.

Judging

I am now a qualified List 3A British Dressage judge and in my first year judged on the CCI ground juries at Houghton, Blair Castle and Weston Park.  I also judged at a number of CICs and BD shows.

JUDGING - EVENTING

Logo - British Eventing - with which Anne-Marie Taylor (FBHS) is a Ground Jurist and former International Three Day Event rider

I am excited now to be a judge and ground jurist at One and Three Day Events.  Having retired as an international Three Day Event rider, I am thrilled still to be participating in the sport of Eventing – but now as a judge.  My competitive experience informs much of my judging, and I therefore feel I can relate to riders’ issues, such as the fairness of the overall test, consistency in marking and dealing fairly with riders’ issues.

So far, I have judged a number of national One Day Events of all levels as well as several CCIs and CICs.  In 2008, I was invited to and judged at Houghton, Blair Castle and Weston Park CCIs and Knaptoft, Hutton-in-the-Forest CICs.  It is fascinating to see our great sport from the other side of the fence!  I never realized when riding how much effort and expertise is required and the number of unpaid volunteers involved.

I am now a List 3A Dressage Judge.  With more experience, my long-term goal is to become an International FEI judge and therefore to be able to judge at all levels of national and international Events.

I am delighted to have been invited to be on the ground jury with Christian Landolt (SUI) at the inaugural Blenheim CIC*** for 8 and 9 year old horses in 2009.

If you would like to discuss my participation in any forthcoming Events my contact details are shown here or you can email me at:
