I am delighted to be an International FEI Judge and invited to be a judge and ground jurist at One and Three Day Events. Having retired as an international Three Day Event rider, I still manage to enjoy participating in the sport of Eventing – but now as a judge. My competitive experience informs much of my judging, as well as helping me relate to riders’ issues.
I still find it fascinating to see our great sport from the other side of the fence! I never realized – when I was riding – how much effort and expertise is required and the number of unpaid volunteers involved.
